The Role
This position sits at the intersection of product, numbers and intuition.
You will lead the buying strategy of a product category within an international fashion environment, shaping a collection that feels both commercially sharp and emotionally relevant. With a strong understanding of the customer and the market, you will translate data, trends and product vision into a cohesive and competitive assortment.
Beyond planning and execution, this role plays a key part in building collections that are balanced, intentional and aligned with a broader brand narrative. Always with a clear focus on performance, margin and stock efficiency.
What You Will Be Doing
Curating the Collection
You will define the structure of the collection alongside design, building it with clarity and intention. From key styles to product families and timing. Your decisions will ensure the collection is both complete and commercially strong, with the right depth, pricing architecture and product mix.
Bringing Strategy into Numbers
You will own the buying plan from a financial perspective, allocating budgets, defining volumes and constantly balancing creativity with performance. Through analysis of past seasons and ongoing sales, you will refine the assortment and make informed, timely decisions.
Working Closely with Product & Suppliers
From supplier selection to negotiation and production follow-up, you will ensure that every product meets expectations in terms of quality, timing and cost. You will be actively involved in fittings and product reviews, contributing to the final outcome with a sharp product eye.
Driving Performance
You will monitor the evolution of the collection in real time, identifying opportunities and reacting accordingly, whether through reorders, product adjustments or new developments. Your goal is to ensure strong sell-through, healthy margins and a dynamic product offer.
Leading & Connecting Teams
You will guide and develop your team while working cross-functionally with design, merchandising, production and other key areas. Collaboration will be essential to ensure alignment and consistency throughout the collection journey.
Your Background
You bring experience in a similar buying role within the fashion industry, with a solid understanding of product, customer and retail dynamics.
A background in Business, Economics or related fields will support your analytical approach, while additional exposure to fashion business or international environments will be a plus.
You are comfortable working in English and have a strong command of Excel as a working tool.
Experience at store level is valued; it often brings a sharper, more intuitive understanding of the product and the customer.
